Across all businesses and industries, more data is being collected by the second. How do you collect, manage and use data to gain a competitive advantage? These are the questions you will explore and understand in this programme.
“Business Analytics” is a broad term that encompasses a number of skills, technologies and approaches to the analysis of business data for the purpose of supporting decision making for management. Learn how to analyse data using several case studies and real-life datasets from big businesses and national and international governments. Work in teams on problem-based case studies to prepare you for real-world scenarios and put your learning into practice.
Learn from academics who have worked in the industry as business analyst consultants and can share their experiences with you. You will learn to use industry tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and more.
This programme uniquely combines both the business and technical aspects of business analytics. Having both skill sets means you will graduate with a competitive advantage. Units completed in this programme count as credits for the Master of Business Degree programme, which is useful if you want to take your studies further and customise your Master’s education.
