About the Programme

This Degree programme gives you the chance to broaden your knowledge of marketing within the global business environment. You will learn to apply your knowledge to real business scenarios, helping you to progress into employment, having already dealt with many situations you will find in the working world. You will be put into a range of exciting and innovative scenarios, strengthening your expertise and learning from different cultures and experiences. You will cover a range of advanced modules that look at current marketing methods and contemporary business issues, such as contemporary advertising, e-business and strategic marketing management and planning. Hands-on learning will go alongside more conventional teaching methods like lectures and seminars in this programme. You will be put in a range of scenarios, such as assuming the role of an international marketing manager, strengthening your expertise in the areas employers want. You will get to mix and collaborate with other students and exchange different ideas and experiences. The programme combines business theory with exciting current marketing themes, such as emerging digital media and the importance of a positive consumer experience. You will start to understand how organisations operate, and what their current challenges and opportunities are. You will also look at how emerging technologies and consumer experience can have a profound effect on how successful a business can be.
Graduation & Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) International Marketing from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom.
The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in the United Kingdom.

  • 20 students
    Class may commence with fewer students than indicated above, subject to resource availability. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified at least 1 week before the programme commencement date, stated in your student contract with Kaplan, and our consultants will contact you to advise on a backup plan.

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements

This Degree programme accepts the following qualifications, which includes:
  • Kaplan Diploma in a Business-related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of junior managerial work experience*
  • Kaplan Advanced Diploma in a Business-related discipline
  • Local Polytechnic Diploma or other Diploma** in a Business-related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of junior managerial work experience*
  • Other equivalent Advanced Diploma or Diploma^ in a Business-related discipline
  • Other private or foreign qualifications in a Business-related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of junior managerial work experience* will be considered on a case-by-case basis
*For work experience to be considered, applicants must have been in roles where they are able to demonstrate management experience through either the management of people, projects, business improvement, budgets, or other areas where they can demonstrate managerial responsibility
**Equivalent to RQF Level 4
Equivalent to RQF Level 5

English Language Requirements
  • GCE O-Level English language subject (Grade C6 and above); OR
  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.

Tuition Fee
The total tuition fee covers university registration, lectures/tutorials/workshops and main assessments such as assignments/tests/examinations/projects (where applicable), programme materials in digital format, Degree (if earned) and transcript.
S$13,270.75 payable in 3 instalments

The Student Development Fee covers the provision of a comprehensive range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the career and industry-readiness of Kaplan students, such as programmes aimed at improving interpersonal skills, technical and digital skills, as well as career advisory and job matching services.
