Course Learning Objectives
This programme aims to facilitate the development of lifelong learning skills (such as critical reflection, critical thinking, problem solving and the use of evidence-based practice) to enhance your professional and academic skills.

The programme also aims to facilitate the development of practitioners for practice in a culturally diverse, contemporary health service and to contextualise health care within current global, socio-economic and demographic drivers and health care policy.
You will be energised to develop an in-depth Knowledge and understanding of topics relating to your professional practice. Successful completion of this programme will equip you with the academic skills, attitudes and values required to progress to higher levels of study as well as enhancing the quality of your professional practice, giving you the extra edge.

Area of Studies

Assessment Methodology
Students’ learning is assessed from a theoretical and clinical practice perspective. Theory is assessed through problem-based learning via essays, care studies, group work, student presentations with the module “Understanding Research and Statistics” having an online examination.

Graduation Requirements and Awards
To graduate, a student must complete and pass all 8 modules.

Graduates have enhanced career opportunities in a wide variety of health care organisation settings. The foundation of the program spans professional nursing issues, such as ethics, law, quality improvement, personnel and budget management, performance management, strategic and operational business planning, principles of research methodology, written communications, nursing science, health assessment, nursing theories and accountability.  

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirement:
- Diploma in Nursing.
- Have obtained a Singapore Registered Nurse status.
- Currently practicing nursing. 

English Requirement An International English Language Testing (IELTS) score of 6.5 with no lower than 6.0 in any individual category ( or equivalent test ).

GCE “O” or GCE “A” Level pass in English or equivalent.

The part-time degree course for registered nurses and will be conducted at the University’s Singapore partner facilities at CSM Academy.

Delivery Mode 1
00% lecturers are from the University of Dundee where the lecturers fly into Singapore at the beginning of the semester for face-to-face intensive lectures. They would also be in Singapore for continued support at mid-semester. This is augmented by online learning to provide a holistic blended learning mode. Course Commencement January, May and September

A minimum of 50 students for the commencement of the class Students will be informed 2 weeks before the commencement of the class

Local students: The Course fee is S$2,650 per module and S$21,200 (before GST) for 8 Modules

Our Bachelor of Nursing programme is eligible for S$500 SkillsFuture Credit.

Community Care Nurses can also obtain 90% course fee funding

Education loans are available from Maybank and TCC.

Referral Fee:
S$200 for every student referred to our nursing degree programme and validated. T&Cs apply.

Insurance Fees Fee Protection Scheme***: Subject to prevailing market rate
Medical Insurance Fee****: Subject to prevailing market rate ***
The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) serves to protect students’ paid fees.
Local and international students are to purchase medical insurance valid throughout their course of studies with CSM Academy International.

Domestic students (Singaporeans, PRs & Non-student’s Pass holders) may opt-out of this scheme if they can provide proof of adequate medical insurance coverage in Singapore.*
