TMC Academy

TMC Academy has an illustrious history that dates back to 1981. Over the years, the private education institution has picked up numerous awards and accolades. TMC Academy has yet another feather in the cap as it picked up the Private Education Institution, Psychology award at the Jobscentral Learning Training and Education Development (T.E.D.) Awards 2019.

Dr Austin Ang, Senior Lecturer at the School of Psychology, TMC, is thrilled and honoured to receive the award on behalf of his school.

He said: "This award is an affirmation that TMC Academy is able to stand out in a highly competitive industry. This is the third time TMC has received the TED award for our Psychology courses. Winning the award again this year gives us the recognition we deserve, and helps to bring confidence to our staff, students as well as the public."

In particular, he credited his dedicated colleagues for his school's success at the T.E.D. Awards.

"A course cannot be successful without good lecturers, support system and students. Everyone in TMC Academy who directly or indirectly is involved in the provision of services and delivery plays a part in the success."

Apart from Psychology, TMC Academy also offers industry-recognised courses in Accountancy, Business and Mass Communication, to name a few. Dr Ang reckons that the T.E.D. Awards will motivate TMC Academy even further. "The graduates, especially the Psychology graduates, will be glad to know that they have graduated with an academic award that was delivered at a school with award recognition."
