Course introduction

Introduction


History of precision engineering. Principles and definitions of precision machine design. State-of-the art in research, prototyping and full production from ultra-precision machining through micro-engineering, Laser Machining, Metrology using Light optics. Application of displacement transducers to machines and instruments. Tolerance technology

Who Should Attend
This course especially caters to industrial engineers, supervisors, managers, researchers and technical staff in the manufacturing, particularly in precision engineering.

Eligibility Criteria
Have 3 years of full-time work experience and at least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or its equivalent.
