Better Trails LLP is a social enterprise, founded to promote the ethical and responsible use of the outdoors and green spaces. With more parks and green spaces being accessible, impacts from the increased visitorship to these places has placed tremendous stress and damages on not only its environment but also the wildlife community that lives in it.

Course Outline

Going outdoors brings about many great benefits! Studies indicated that engaging in outdoor activities keep one's mind and body healthy, reduces stress and brings about creativity.  Whether your group's interest is in nature enjoyment or sports recreation, we have programmes and activities to cater to your needs. We can customise fun team buidling components into guided nature walk, environmental CSR and any outdoor programs!

Trainer Profile

Loh Chee Hwa

CHEE HWA is an active member of the Singapore Scout Association since 1992 and is currently serving as an adult leader. Chee Hwa is also a qualified adventure facilitator under the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) (Challenge Course Manager level).

Chee Hwa is a Leave No Trace Master Educator from Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethic, USA.

He was previously a Trainer for adventure facilities with the Ministry of Education conducting licensing training for teachers and instructors. He also spent 6 years as an adventure facilities manager in one of the MOE adventure centres. With over 10 years of active experiences in outdoor education, Chee Hwa's aptness in programme pedagogy provide for appropriate application to the field of environmental education.
