Introduction


The English for Business (EFB) programme focuses on developing students’ proficiency in the English language for their daily needs and basic business communication required in a business environment.
 
 
Course Duration
Full time – 3 months (excluding term/exam breaks), with 260 Guided Learning Hours
 
Entry Requirements

  • •  At least 16 years old
  • •  The English for Business (EFB) programme is offered to local and foreign students who have completed their secondary, and middle school education and are interested to pursue a communications course to develop their English language for a business environment. Students must sit for a placement test to ascertain their proficiency levels before admittance into the course.
 Minimum English Language Requirement
IELTS score ≥ 3.0 or TOEFL IBT ≥ 25
English Placement Test score ≥ 25

Students planning to work in an English-speaking business environment. These would include those in the field of business management, marketing, international business, accountancy, finance, design, technology management, hospitality and customer service.
