The Foundation Course in English is a 3-month foundational English programme that focuses on developing students’ proficiency level in the English language for general, everyday use.
This course is for students who desire a well-rounded blend of general, academic and professional English and is a stepping stone for those who wish to further their studies or work in an English-speaking environment.

Entry Requirements
At least 16 years old
Local (Singaporean) and international students must have completed 9 years of formal education to be eligible for admission.
Students must sit for a placement test to ascertain their proficiency levels before admittance into the course.
Placement Test
A placement test is administered at the Admissions Office upon the students’ arrival in Singapore. Students will be informed of the respective levels they qualify.
Minimum Language Requirement
IELTS 1.0 - <3.0 or,
TOEFL IBT below 30 or,
English Placement Test Score < 40
