London Chamber of Commerce held its first exams in 1887 and there are now more than 5,000 LCCI centres in over 100 countries. Over its long history, LCCI qualifications have become hallmarks of work-related performance and solid academic foundation for employers and educationists alike.
Qualifications awarded by the LCCI are recognised by a wide variety of institutions and organizations throughout the world. In addition to this, recognition can be local or international, i.e. diplomas accepted for national purposes or to gain admission and credits in overseas universities. And the LCCI qualifications meet the needs of the business community and are thus passports to employment. The aims of this program are to enable students to develop the ability to demonstrate a general understanding of the need for efficient administration and organization, process information and follow instructions. The qualification is intended for candidates who are preparing to work or are working in business at a level that requires knowledge of routine administrative procedures.
