This WSQ Certificate programme is intended for adults seeking fundamental knowledge and skills in pastry and bakery and wish to apply their learning to the workplace. It presents basic pastry and bakery principles while emphasizing the importance of meeting the needs and, whenever possible, exceeding the expectations of customers.
The objectives of the WSQ Certificate in Pastry and Bakery are:
To prepare individuals for entry-level employment in the food and beverage industry as pastry and bakery assistants.
To upgrade the individual’s skills and knowledge and obtain a certificate to change.

Maintain Safe and Secure Working Environment
Maintain Food & Beverage Production Environment
Maintain Quality Control Procedures
Prepare Mise En Place 1
Prepare Pre-mix, Frozen, Bake-off Products
Demonstrate Baking Techniques, Mixing Methods and Piping Skills
In-Campus Practical Training

Singaporeans who successfully complete and are awarded a WSQ Certificate for the first time will be eligible for a CET Qualification Award (CQA) of $200.
