Course introduction


The Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination (Intensive) (GCE A-Level) is deemed as one of the entry requirements considered by many post-secondary institutions locally and internationally. In addition, this qualification is also one of the basic education qualifications which may be considered and assessed by potential employers.

The objective of this course is to equip international students with the comprehensive skills set, which will enhance their career development and lay a solid foundation for advancement to tertiary education.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level by Ministry of Education, Singapore and University of Cambridge International Examinations.

This course consists of 5 GCE A-Level subjects according to SEAB syllabuses
• General Paper (H1)
• Mathematics (H2)
• Physics (H2)
• Chemistry (H2)
• China Studies in Chinese (H1) or or Economics (H1)


Full-Time: 12 months Institutional Training, 3.75 hours per session, average of 7.5 contact hours per school day (Inclusive of tutorial), 10 sessions per week (Total: 37.5 contact hours per week)

Age: At least 17 years old as at 1st January of the Examination year. 

Academic Level: Minimum Completion of GCE O-Level or Senior Middle 2 with a pass in English subject in applicant’s home country or other equivalent qualifications required by MOE, Singapore.
