Introduction
The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework covers skills that equip individuals with the "know-how" to perform their specified jobs.
This course provides training to those working in the F&B industry such as food handlers, chefs, supervisors and managers. It aims to equip participants with a basic knowledge of food hygiene and to raise awareness towards better food hygiene practices.
Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, a Statement of Attainment will be awarded by WDA to participants.
DIMENSIONS International College is a WSQ Approved Training Organisation (ATO) of the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) for the above program.
COURSE STRUCTURE
This course covers the following topics and is available in English and Mandarin:
• Maintain personal hygiene
• Maintain food preparation and service utensils and equipment
• Preparing food safely
• Handling food safely
• Storing food safely
• Maintaining food preparation, service and storage areas
COURSE MODES AND DURATION
The course duration is 8.5 hours comprising 7 hours for Theory and 1.5 hours for Assessment.
