INTRODUCTION

The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Chronic Disease Management) has been accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board to provide specialised Chronic Disease Management training and skills to better manage patients using multi disciplinary approach in hospitals, outpatient clinics and other health care institutions. Core modules would cover advanced pathophysiology, health assessment, research and education.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

To produce professionals with solid grounding in the areas of managing chronic diseases through in depth knowledge and skills. Thus, the students will be confident in their clinical abilities and have a strong commitment to quality patient care and continuing education and research.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Registered nurses who possess a Diploma in Health Sciences ( Nursing ) or equivalent, and have a minimum of one year post registration clinical experience in all Health Care Institutions.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be registered nurses with a Diploma in Health Sciences (Nursing) or equivalent. He/she must have a minimum of one-year post registration clinical experience in acute hospitals/community hospitals
