This course aims to produce high quality early childhood and special education teachers to work with children with special needs/exceptionalities, including intellectual, physical, and sensory disabilities as well as children with communication, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The course is designed to train experienced educators/teachers and related professionals, who already hold a qualification in early childhood or special education at degree or diploma level, to work with preschool children with special needs and also to work collaboratively with parents and other professionals.
Who Should Attend
This is suitable for those who are already in the field but do not have a qualification in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs).
Foreign applicants need to have a valid immigration pass or work pass with validity covering the duration of this part-time course. Student visa is only issued to eligible foreign applicants pursuing full-time studies.
