Bachelor of Nursing in Singapore
SHS’s Bachelor of Science Nursing (Top-up) post-registration degree – in partnership with Edinburgh Napier University, UK – is accredited by Singapore Nursing Board. With the changes in today’s healthcare industry and the challenges that come with it, our nursing courses in Singapore are equipped to prepare you well for the profession. 

Combining theory with practical assessments, our nursing degree is designed to be feedback-positive so as to ensure that you receive valuable advice and insights for practising nursing in Singapore. Nursing Degree Programme Objective
The Bachelor of Science Nursing (Top-up) degree programme is accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). 

The part-time nursing degree programme will enable you to develop the required critical, enquiring approach to nursing that supports high-quality, safe, evidence-based and effective care across a dynamic and contemporary healthcare environment. The nursing degree graduates will possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to practice collaboratively across healthcare settings and communities and within the context of the Singapore Nursing Board’s Domains of Practice and global health perspectives.

Entry Requirements


Local Application Entry Requirements

Applicants must be of age 18 and above and possess one of the following entrance requirements:
Registered nurses with Singapore Nursing Board who hold a certificate or diploma in nursing and a current practicing certificate (full and conditional registration only) issued by SNB.

Note: All applications are subject to University approval. Graduates of the Healthcare Professional Conversion Programme, the 2-year Diploma in Nursing (Accelerated) by Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), are eligible to apply to the Bachelor of Science Nursing (Top-up) programme.   
 
English Language Requirements

  • IELTS with a minimum overall band of 6.0 (with no component less than 5.5) OR
  • C6 in English at GCE ‘O’ Levels OR
  • C in GCSE OR
  • Grade 6 or above in SPM OR
  • Approved Edinburgh Napier University admission equivalents
