Programme Overview
This Bachelor of Science Health, Safety and Risk Management course provides graduates with the expertise to manage and promote workplace health and safety standards, leading to a safer and more productive environment. Health and safety professionals contribute to eliminating work-related diseases, minimising occupational risks, and ensuring the implementation of relevant policies and regulations. Effective health and safety management requires collaborative efforts between employers and health, safety, and risk management professionals.

Entry Requirements


Local Application Entry Requirements
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age

Academic:

  • WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) for Year 3 entry OR 
  • Mature candidates 30 years old and above with 8 years of relevant work experience 
English Language Requirements
  • GCE O Level English Grade C6 OR
  • IELTS 6.0 (with no skills below 5.5) OR
  • MDIS Professional Certificate in English (PCIE) Advanced Level – minimum 60% OR
  • Pass MDIS English Placement Test – minimum 81% OR
  • University approved equivalent
