Preparing for the Future of Logistics (2 days/15 hours)
This course introduces students to key issues and trends in supply chain and logistics, and discusses the key areas of logistics disruption.

Distribution Logistics (2 days/15 hours)
The course offers an integrated supply chain framework to effectively manage distribution systems and availability of infrastructure to achieve optimisation and profitability.

Managing the Operations (2 days/15 hours)
The course develops your understanding of operations management principles, concepts and best practices to support business requirements and maximise efficiency.

Upon completion of the three courses stated above, you will be certified with the Professional Certificate in Logistics from PSB Academy.

Compare and contrast the various existing logistical practices in the global economy;
Apply logistics principles to achieve competitive advantage;
Integrate logistics as core competency within the enterprise supply chain; and
Develop procedures on workplace safety and health and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Distribution Logistics (2 days/15 hours)
Distinguish between logistics and supply chains and create an understanding of other logistics terms;
Evaluate how organisations can integrate their logistics processes into global supply chains and leverage opportunities provided by computing and communications to manage;
Appreciate how customer service bridges both marketing and logistics; and
Develop a management agenda for implementing or improving supply chains and logistic.

Managing the Operations (2 days/15 hours)
Appreciate the importance of the operations function to the day-to-day running of the organisation and how it contributes to competitive advantages;
Comprehend the decisions made by operations managers involving the design and improvement of process for producing goods and services;
Discuss all aspects of the quality system; and
Apply forecasting techniques to optimise capacity planning.

Before attending this course, it is recommended for students to have basic understanding of logistics and supply chain management concepts. No prior courses or certifications are required for students to take this course.

•    Usual Course Fees: S$642 UTAP is a training benefit for NTUC members to defray their cost of training.

NTUC members enjoy 50% ^unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year when you sign up for courses supported under UTAP.

To be eligible for the funding, student will need to complete all 3 courses under the Professional Certificate in Business Analytics.
