Managing relationships and differences in the workplace, whether within a team or with customers or other stakeholders, is a crucial skill to have as a manager. Learn dispute resolution methods including negotiation, mediation and arbitration. You will learn about the processes involved in the various dispute resolution methods and gain experience in resolving disputes through case studies and roleplaying in class.
This programme focuses on negotiating strategies, tactics and processes and considers the impact and sensitivities of culture, gender and emotions during the negotiating process. These can be implemented across many different industries including banking, healthcare and insurance, or on matters such as worker compensation and family dispute resolution. Units completed in this programme count as credits for the Master of Business Degree programme, which is useful if you want to take your studies further and customise your Master’s education.

Students will attend a combination of lectures, tutorials and workshops in this programme, and they have the flexibility to plan their study schedule and attend classes once or twice a week depending on their study load. Classes are conducted on weekday evenings or weekends to suit the busy schedules of students enrolled in this programme. Each unit is supported with 24 contact hours.
