Introduction
The Higher Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management merges Level 4 and 5 qualifications, offering a comprehensive education for varied industry roles. It combines practical and theoretical aspects for supply chain careers, focusing on value creation, logistics optimisation, and synchronisation. The course builds professional knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. It covers Singapore's business environment, international logistics, shipping management, and management principles. It includes Industry Attachment (IA) for insights and an Industry Project for practical experience. A six-month internship enriches work experience, boosting professional prospects and problem-solving skills.
Entry Requirements
Academic Requirement:
- Obtained at least 2 GCE A-Level passes, including Mathematics and *English; OR
- Obtained International Baccalaureate Diploma (at least 24 points) or other equivalent pre-university certifications; OR
- Completion of GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Logistics and Supply Chain Management)/ GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Business Management)/ GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Event Management)/ GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Events, Hospitality and Tourism Management) or equivalent; OR
- NUS High School Diploma; OR
- Polytechnic Diploma (e.g. Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/ Logistics and Supply Chain Management/I.T./ Computing/ Hospitality/ Psychology); OR
- Other PEI qualifications (e.g. Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/I.T./ Logistics and Supply Chain Management / Computing/ Hospitality/ Psychology that is equivalent to GSTM’s Diploma) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis; OR
- Matured student: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience will be considered.
English Language Requirement:
- A pass in English at GCE' O' Level or Equivalent; OR
- IELTS 5.5 and or equivalent; OR
- Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English
