Course introduction

Introduction

MDIS College offers a diverse range of preparatory courses ranging from Singapore- Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary and Advanced Level), Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS), Cambridge International Advanced Level, Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Cambridge International Lower Secondary. Since its establishment in 2006, it has set a proven track record of preparing students to excel academically and has provided a strong foundation for them to be successful at higher levels of tertiary education in Singapore.

Cambridge IGCSE is one of the world’s most popular international qualifications for students. It is recognised as a reliable record of attainment for entry into universities and colleges worldwide, and is an international academic passport to progression and success.

Cambridge IGCSE is comparable to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level system and the United Kingdom’s General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). Cambridge IGCSE examinations are held twice a year (May/June and Oct/Nov) and candidates are to register with MDIS College before the closing dates.

Minimum age: 14 years old
Language Proficiency: Completed Secondary Three English / Year 9 English / Certificate in English (CIE) or equivalent / IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent / Online English Placement Test conducted by MDIS / Achieve score of 75 and above in Duolingo English Test or equivalent

24 Months (Upper Secondary)
Completed at least Secondary Two Education / Year 8 or equivalent
