Introduction
The ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (ICAEW CFAB) is an internationally recognised certificate that teaches essential knowledge in business, finance and accounting.
ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business contains the same syllabus content as the first six modules of the world-leading chartered accountancy qualification, the ACA. You can study ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business as a stand-alone qualification or as a possible stepping stone to the ACA qualification.
It is suitable for those:

The ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business has six modules which can be started at any time of year and can be studied on its own or gained alongside a college course, degree course or work commitments. At the end of each module, you will need to sit an exam. Each module is examined by computer-based assessment. Each exam is 90 minutes and has a pass mark of 55%.
You must be registered as an ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business student to book an assessment exam. When you have passed all six modules, you will receive your certificate qualification from ICAEW – a world leader of the accountancy and finance profession.

Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements:
- 3 GCE O’ level with credit in English, Maths and/or other relevant subject(s); or
- Relevant Nitec or Higher Nitec from Institute Technical Education (ITE) or
- Students from LCCI Diploma in Accounting & Finance (Level 4) are exempted from Business & Finance & Management Information or
- AAT Diploma in Accounting or
- ACCA FIA students
