Introduction


COURSE OBJECTIVE
The Advanced Diploma in Music Production aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills and proficiencies to develop their artistic concept, their musical products and to arm students with adequate proficiencies in business and marketing in order to promote their music to a wider audience. The Advanced Diploma in Music Production will culminate in a regional/international TOUR in which students will actually have to go on TOUR in which they will apply all knowledge and skills learnt from the programme.

Orita Sinclair School of Design and Music conducted a survey of its student and graduate performance. Through analysis of student data and graduate surveys, the survey looked at student Pass Rate, Attrition Rate and Graduation Rate, Employment Rate and Total Employment Rate and Median Starting Salary Range of Orita Sinclair graduates entering the workforce.

Entry Requirements


MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Qualifications: Diploma in Music Production and Audio Engineering (or equivalent diploma in audio/music production)
  2. English Requirement: Minimum of pass at N levels*
  3. Music Qualifications: Minimum grade 5 Theory (ABRSM/Trinity/Rockschool/LCM or equivalent**)
  4. Pass the interview and audition by Course Manager (Applicants will have to undergo an interview and audition by the Course Manager to determine suitability for the programme.)
Applicants who do not meet (ii) will have to go for an English placement test administered during application
Applicants who do not meet (iii) can take Harmony 1 bridging Course administered by the school.
