Introduction

The Pearson LCCI Level 4 Certificate in Organisational Behaviour and Performance (VRQ) is for learners who work in, or who want to work in, an area that contributes to those aspects of the decision-making process that influence an organisation’s behaviour and improve its performance. The qualification will enable learners to understand how changes in both the internal and external environment impact on an organisation and how different management practices can help shape its response to these changes. The qualification will also enable learners to understand how motivation, leadership and teamworking influence an organisation’s performance. The qualification looks at the importance of professional ethics and its relationship to managing risk. This qualification is particularly suitable for people who hold management positions or those who aspire to become managers. The qualification is relevant to learners across different functional areas of an organisation in whichever sector it operates, including finance, HR and other business operations.

The qualification is trusted and valued byemployers worldwide and recognised by universities and professional bodies. Learners can progress from this qualification by working towards higher professional qualifications and to membership of professional bodies – increasing their employability in their chosen sector. Learners could choose to continue their academicdevelopment by progressing to degree courses in various disciplines.
 

Programme Duration
Full-time:  2 months               Part-time: 5 months

Programme Structure
Full-time students will study a maximum of 15 Guided Learning Hours per week.
Part-time students will study a maximum of  9 Guided Learning Hours per week.


Assessment / Examinations
One externally set and marked paper by Pearson Education Limited, consisting of 100% of the overall grade of the qualification.

Recognition
This qualification provides exemption from ACCA’s F1 Accountant in Business qualification.

Entry Requirements

• AGE: Minimum 18 years old at the point of commencement
• ACADEMIC:

1. Local Candidates: Completion of GCE ’N’ Level with at least 3 Passes (N(A) 1 – 5 or N(T) A – C), inclusive of English (N(A) 5 or N(T) C); OR Completion of GCE ’O’ Level with at least 2 Passes (A1 – C6) in any two subjects;  
2. International Candidates: Completion of Secondary Education/Year 10 or equivalent;

• ENGLISH PROFICIENCY: Recommended to have B1 Level of English on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) or equivalent
• Candidates who do not meet the above requirements but with at least 1 year relevant working experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Graduation Requirement
Students must pass the external examination, which will be set and marked by Pearson Education Limited.

Attendance Criteria
Student Pass holders are required to maintain an attendance of 90% and above to meet the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) requirements. All students need to attend at least 75% of classes to be eligible for a Certificate of Attendance.
