With the introduction of the F&B WSQ system, WSG and NEA sought to raise the food hygiene standards and standardise the training of its Basic Food Hygiene (BFH). A new 7-hour programme WSQ Food Hygiene Course (WFHC) replaced BFH with effect from 1st June 2007.
It is mandatory to obtain this Certification before you can start working in a F & B Industry. (WSQ Certification)
CE1: Practise Good Personal Hygiene
CE2: Use Safe Ingredients (Maintain food preparation and service utensils and equipment)
CE3: Handle Food Safely
CE4: Store Food Safely
CE5: Maintain Cleanliness of Utensils, Equipment and Service/Storage Areas
Course available in 4 different languages : English, Mandarin, Malay, Tamil
