This workshop addresses the presence of office politics, and how to spot it. Participants will be equipped with skills for managing themselves in political situations.
The workshop will be highly interactive, to bring realisation to the participant on differing views on office politics, and how they are a part of it. Participants will learn of techniques used by the facilitator over his 30 years of working experience. Participants will benefit from the facilitator’s successes in leveraging on personal values, company values/culture and collaborative approaches.

Module 1: What causes Office Politics? (Discussions)
Maurice Chua has more than 30 years’ experience as a HR practitioner, with diverse experiences in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Supply Chain, Automotive, Manufacturing, and Retail sectors. More than 20 of these were in Regional and Sub-Regional HR leadership roles. Maurice’s HR coverage over the course of his career, included Asia and Middle East. His prior appointments included roles as Regional HR Head in an Energy organisation, Regional HR Head in an Oil & Gas organisation, Sub-Regional HR Head in a Supply Chain organisation, plus Regional HR leadership in specialist roles, leading up Employee Communications, Employee Relations, Compliance, and Community Programs. Maurice's Human Resources experience is extensive, having being involved in Human Resource start-ups in regional (Asia & Middle East) and country (India, Thailand and Singapore) capacities.
