Course introduction

The Association of Taxation Technicians (Singapore) Limited (ATTS) was incorporated under the auspices of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) in March 1995. It is the association that awards the Specialist Certificate in Taxation qualification which is administered by SAA Global Education.



Course Pre-Requisites


The ATTS Specialist Certificate in Taxation consists of four modules:
1.Individual Income Tax - 36 Hours
2. Corporate Tax 1 - 49 Hours
3.Indirect Taxes - 32 Hours
4.Corporate Tax 2 - 69 Hours

100% written examination

Registered students will be given 3 years from the date of registration to complete the ATTS qualification.
Students are required to achieve a minimum of 75% class attendance in order to sit for the examinations. This requirement will apply to both new and re-sit students.
Students can attempt up to a maximum of two modules per examination session.
The examination sessions will be held every May/June and November/December respectively.
Students can attempt Module 1, 2 and 3 in any order.
Students are required to pass or be exempted from Modules 1 and 2 before attempting Module 4 where applicable.
Examination Regulations
Each module is assessed by a three-hour closed book written examination.
Students can attempt up to a maximum of TWO modules per examination session.
Minimum passing mark is 50 out of 100 mark.
Students are required to achieve a minimum of 75% class attendance in order to sit for the examinations. This requirement will apply to both new and re-sit students.

The ATTS Specialist Certificate in Taxation consists of four modules:

Course fees are inclusive of 7% GST & FPS

Course fees are inclusive of textbook and lecture notes. There will be no textbook rebate given should students decide not to collect the textbook or lecture notes.

Trainer Profile


Toh Tze Hern

Mr Toh graduated with Honours in Accountancy from the Singapore Management University (SMU). Concurrently during his studies in SMU, Mr Toh completed the Diploma in Law and subsequently graduated with Honours in Law from the University of London.

Mr Toh is also a Chartered Accountant Singapore with the ISCA and an Accredited Tax Practitioner-(Income Tax) with the SIATP.
