A 1-day course which will address an organization’s need to delegate cybersecurity responsibilities.
Will prepare C-Suite and Board levels to set the “tone at the top” for an organization. This course gives a 50,000 foot view of the cybersecurity issues that confront corporate board members and C-Suite executives. Emphasis is on understanding the problem, alignment of resources, and leadership on a proactive and incident basis.

Dr Denise Pheils
Dr. Denise Pheils has developed and taught cybersecurity courses from the associate to doctoral level for 15 years and IT courses for the three years prior. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Pheils worked in the industry as a
security analyst, systems analyst, project manager, and programmer. She is on the editorial board of two cybersecurity journals and has published many papers, conference proceedings, two book chapters, and co-authored two mini books on cybersecurity topics, all peer reviewed.
Dr. Deanne Cranford-Wesley
Dr. Deanne Cranford-Wesley is the Department Chair at the David iTEC Center at Forsyth Technical Community College. She is also an instructor for Information System Security and Business Information Technology. Dr. Cranford -Wesley is a cybersecurity professional and has appeared as a subject matter expert on Fox8 and Time Warner News discussing recent advances in cyber security vulnerability.
Dr. Jim Jones
Jim Jones, PhD, is an Associate Professor at George Mason University. His teaching and research activities are focused on digital forensics, specifically the extraction, processing, analysis, and manipulation of digital artifacts. He has been a cyber security and digital forensics practitioner and researcher in industry, government, and academia for over 20 years.
Dr. Kevin McLaughlin
Dr. Kevin McLaughlin currently serves as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for Stryker Corporation. He has served as a Director at Kennedy Space Center, Senior Information Security manager with the Procter & Gamble (P&G) company and a Senior Information Security manager with the Whirlpool corporation. He is also an adjunct faculty member teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Cyber Security.
Marco Polizzi is an Authorized (ISC)² Instructor & Safe and Secure Online Presenter . He has more than 20 years of diverse leadership experience as a clinical/administrative leader, educator, AHCA Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager, and Healthcare Cyber Security Practitioner (HCISPP). He provides professional services as a Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner and coordinates the processes involved in managing general liability, risk exposures and cyber security for the healthcare industry.
