Course introduction

The Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act, as with any statutes, are wide and even meticulously detailed in terms of scope and contents.  But what operational managers whether in Human Resource or Line Departments need, are to have some knowledge of key provisions, the rest of the details they only need to look up when or if situation warrants. This workshop provides participants with key features of the Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act and with a segment on how to work WITH unions.  Apart from the statutory contents, the Facilitator intersperses and illustrates with practical anecdotes from practical experience.
