Trainer Profile


Phil Day, Rebecca Stewart, Jacqueline Throop OR Ricky Lien

Phil Day began his career in telecommunications, where he gained extensive experience in management, sales and marketing. His clients include Telstra, AXA, KPMG and the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board. He brings to his workshops a rich business background, wide international experience and excellent facilitation skills.

Rebecca Stewart is an experienced corporate trainer and facilitator who brings a new dynamic to thinking, creativity and communications skills in the workplace. She involves delegates in an innovative and exciting way and combines a deep knowledge of theory and principles with the practical application of the tools and techniques.

Jacqueline Throop, Master of Arts (University of Ottawa), Bachelor of Fine Arts (NSCAD); Bachelor of Arts (Mount Allison University) and Certificate in Adult Education (St. Francis Xavier University) is the lead trainer for Think on Your Feet® and Writing Dynamics™ in North America. She specialises in organisational development; leadership and performance; communication and Conflict; creativity and facilitation. Jacqueline is also accredited to lead programmes such as Herrmann Brain Dominance Index (HBDI), Open Space Technology (OST) workshops, Robert Fritz's programmes based on his work in structural dynamics, as well as all of McLuhan and Davies' communication skills programmes.

Ricky Lien is Creative and Training Director of a learning and development consultancy. He has worked in his own businesses and with organisations in Australia and Asia Pacific. Working with line managers and executive management, he has helped them perform far better in relation to the demands of their careers. His experience in fast moving consumer goods, computer sales, account management, General Management, and ISO 9000 consulting & auditing inspires people to make positive changes in their behaviour towards better outcomes.

Mr Lien has the ability to work at all organisational levels to, implement and manage change, and build commitment. He has an insightful knowledge of people and a deep understanding of intrinsic motivation. He has the ability to develop a group learning environment whereby participants are fully engaged in involvement and active learning. His drive, energy and enthusiasm as a trainer is dynamic and being also an accomplished professional speaker, he is an asset to any organization wanting to improve their output, better manage their performance and increase the level of skills, knowledge and attitudes in their workplace.
