According to Edward G. Wetheim, Ph.D., ""People in organizations typically spend over 75 percent of their time in an interpersonal situation."" This confirms the importance of efficient communication skills. Without communication, the world would not function. Interpersonal communication involves a flow of messages from one or more persons to engage another. Communication occurs all day and includes people who pass each other in silence. People engage in several types of interpersonal communication. Knowing these types of communication can improve communication skills and form stronger relationships. At the end of the course you would be able to: - Define and apply the key concepts associated with interpersonal skills - Identify barriers to effective application of interpersonal skills as well executing techniques to overcome such barriers - Comprehend the nature of the components of the interpersonal process and adapt it to the participant's advantage - Apply the appropriate techniques that are required as interpersonal skills including oral, written and visual presentation processes - Compare and contrast the benefits of excellent interpersonal skills Methodology: Lecturette, videos, discussion, games, reflection, and action plan

Daniel Kam has at least 20 years of corporate leadership experience under his belt in the area of Business Development, General Management and Organization Development work including 7 years of senior management role as a Director of Asian market in the most recent corporate job. He brings relevant experience, wisdom and practical insights in his soft-skills based programs such as leadership, high performance team work, personal development as well as business development and management.

He holds a degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing. He is a certified professional trainer as well as an executive coach. He is also certified as a trainer for Brian Tracy range of sales leadership courses. A passionate trainer with great empathic considerations, Daniel is able to relate well with diverse groups of multi-cultural and multi-generational learners.
