Graduation & Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Data Science and Analytics from University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom.
The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in the United Kingdom.

Academic Requirements

This Degree programme accepts the following qualifications, which includes:

Polytechnic Diploma
Kaplan Diploma
Other private Diplomas and/or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis

Applicants admitted to the programme may be required to undertake bridging modules to fulfil the required prerequisite knowledge.

English Language Requirements

IELTS score of 6.0, with no component less than 5.5 OR
Successful completion of an approved Diploma qualification or higher, where the language of instruction was English can be considered
Applicants are required to meet the University’s English language requirement.

In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.

Working Experience

When required, work experience will apply as part of the admissions process. Applicants seeking recognition of experiential learning are required to provide a portfolio of evidence in accordance with the University’s Recognition of Prior Learning policies and practices. Any assessment on work experience and decisions on related admissions will be conducted by the University and will, where appropriate, lead to the recognition of the achievement of learning outcomes and the award of the University Credit.

The Student Development Fee covers the provision of a comprehensive range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the career and industry-readiness of Kaplan students, such as programmes aimed at improving interpersonal skills, technical and digital skills, as well as career advisory and job matching services.
