Course Introduction

The Diploma in Business Management (General Studies) programme consists of 8 modules and may be completed in 8 months. It aims to provide students with a well-rounded discourse of business in general. This specialisation complements the 6 core modules with any two modules that students are most interested in.

Minimum Class Size
  • Minimum class size: 20 students
    Class may commence with fewer students than indicated above, subject to resource availability. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified at least 1 week before the programme commencement date, stated in your student contract with Kaplan, and our consultants will contact you to advise on a backup plan.

The Diploma programme caters to students with a wide range of interests. Students take the 6 core modules and choose the remaining 2 modules from a comprehensive list of 18 electives to either:
  • Customise their own Diploma according to their interests and goals
  • Customise their Diploma to meet specific university requirements for advanced standing into a Bachelor Degree*

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements
  • Kaplan Foundation Diploma; OR
  • Minimum 1 GCE A-Level pass; OR
  • Other private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis (based on the equivalence to the GCE A-Level); OR
  • Mature candidates (30 years old and above, with a minimum of 8 years of work experience)
English Language Requirements
  • At least C6 in GCE O-Level English or equivalent

Fees & Funding

Tuition Fee
The total tuition fee covers registration, lectures/tutorials/workshops and main assessments such as assignments/tests/examinations/projects (where applicable), programme materials in digital format, Diploma (if earned) and e-transcript.
S$5,951.40 payable in 4 instalments

*Payment for this fee will be included in the first instalment.
The Student Development Fee covers the provision of a comprehensive range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the career and industry-readiness of Kaplan students, such as programmes aimed at improving interpersonal skills, technical and digital skills, as well as career advisory and job matching services.
 
GST
All fees indicated are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate of 9%. For more information on the GST revision, please refer to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) website. Please refer to the official price list for a detailed breakdown.
