Chong Kong is the Human Resources Director of PwC Singapore where he oversees the Human Capital function of PwC and drives PwC’s human capital strategy and performance in Singapore.
An award-winning Marketer turned Human Capital Professional, Chong Kong brings with him extensive working experience in Human Resource (HR) Management covering core functions such as Organization Development, Change & Transition Management, People Experience, Talent Attraction & Employer Branding, Talent & Performance Management, HR Business Partnering, Employee Communications, Employee & Industrial Relations and Learning & Development.
In the earlier years of Chong Kong’s career, he had also gained marketing, branding & communications management experience in advertising, sales & marketing areas covering the IT and FMCG industry.
Chong Kong assumes both human capital and marketing roles in MNC environment such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hewlett-Packard, Intel Technology, Philip Morris, Dell Computer, 3M, and Ogilvy & Mather with regional responsibilities covering Singapore market and the Asia Pacific region.
Chong Kong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Director, Assurance, Nexia TS Public Accounting Corporation
Ji Kin spent almost 15 years with an international accounting firm, serving a number of roles. In an assurance capacity, he served clients in statutory audits and other special assignments. These clients included listed and private companies as well as multi-national corporations, in various industries, including the oil & gas, insurance, investment-holding and manufacturing sector.
In a different capacity, Ji Kin played an integral role in the internal technical department, primarily focused on auditing standards and audit quality, including external reporting, in both audit and non-audit services. He also played a key role in conducting training in accounting standards, audit methodology and related soft skills, including project and client management.

Arvin is the person responsible for business development at AKÏN. As the lead consultant, he champions brand storytelling, regional inbound marketing strategies and product innovation. His entrepreneurial goal is to continually nurture partnerships with like-minded partners and individuals, in order to create and enable a dynamic eco-system in Asia; at present, he spearheads regional offices in Indonesia and Hong Kong.
Aside from his role at AKÏN, Arvin is also an advisor to disruptive biometric start-up GTRIIP, a certified associate of Emergenetics®, an Executive Committee Member of SAFRA Punggol and Singapore Computing Society Youth Council, and volunteers at Quartz Initiative (QZI), a social enterprise based in Singapore that aims to redefine social change by inspiring and enabling tomorrow's leaders.
Former Acting CEO, National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS)
A dynamic and active person with over 20 years experience in the travel industry for a leading organisation. She was later seconded to manage a tourism school for almost three years. She is currently with a VWO in the ageing space that runs training and outreach programmes for seniors. Patricia graduated from the University of South Australia and major in media management. She is also a ACTA certified trainer.
Jennifer Lee has 20 years’ experience in the food and beverage industry from bakeries to cafes and nightclubs both front and back of house. She currently heads up the kitchen at Vasco, a Latin American bar and kitchen located on Hong Kong Street.
Jennifer has represented her cuisine in Taiwan as part of DBS Treasures underground Supper Club and also was the winner of Neon Pigeon’s knife fight. As well as featuring in Epicure, Cleo, Living Sri Lanka and Travel & Leisure magazines, she also placed 4th in Mediacorp’s ‘Eat List Star’ culinary host competition.
Senior Manager, Human Resources, RE&S Enterprises Pte Ltd
Irene Tay is a Senior Manager leading a team of 13 in RE&S Enterprises Pte Ltd. She has been in the Food & Beverage industry for more than 2 decades. Her experience spans over the restaurant management to marketing and human capital management. During her stint in the restaurant operations, she groomed restaurant management teams as part of the business expansion plans. Equipped with strong restaurant operation knowledge, she moved into the marketing and HR spaces to impart and integrate the functions for better support. The importance of learning, unlearning, relearning is impressed on everyone more than before in a nation movement of SkillsFuture. With a wide spread of learning courses and method of delivery, an individual needs to know his objective before selecting the most suitable one for him.
She is also the Enlightened Coach using IDENTI3 profiling tool to map into employee development needs that are aligned to their career aspirations and the organisation strategy. The coaching and training provided increased team morale, strengthened teamwork and achieved a 5% internal promotion rate. She believes that coaching, training and application of learning will generate mutual benefit for the organisation and individual.
Siang Hui [LLB (Hons), FSIArb] is a partner in the firm J.S. Yeh & Co; and has been in legal practice for about 14 years. His main areas of practice are in civil and commercial dispute resolution, and its various forms such as litigation, arbitration, mediation, neutral evaluation as well as adjudication.
As building and construction disputes are one of his areas of practice, the clients for whom he has acted for include developers, management corporation strata title plans, architects and other consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, as well as private home owners.
Outside of dispute resolution, he also undertakes vetting and drafting of contractual agreements, deeds and related documents. He also advises on family asset management, including the areas of wills, probate and estate administration.
Beng Huan is a registered psychologist practising Industrial and Organisational Psychology in the Singapore office of OPRA Psychology Group, a company that applies I/O psychology to help organizations develop employee and organisational potential. In his professional work, Beng Huan consults on selection, surveys, training and development, counselling and coaching, and on occasion, design. In addition, he also teaches psychology modules as an associate faculty member at SUSS and SHRI Academy. Beng Huan also has a career history in the creative industry, having worked as a designer, and was part of the team behind Singapore’s first international toy brand.
Donus is currently the Director at W3ave Pte Ltd and the Principal Psychologist with Matthew James International (MJI) and iGROW. He began his career as a psychologist in the Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports, working on juvenile delinquency and child abuse cases. He then moved to Institute of Mental Health where he became Senior Psychologist, with areas of expertise in psychological therapy and assessments, and research. He has also been a psychologist with MINDEF and has lectured at James Cook University (Singapore), UniSIM and Nanyang Polytechnic.
Donus has an Honours degree in Psychology from the Australian National University and is also a double Masters holder; he has a Masters in Research Psychology from University of Edinburgh and a Masters in Clinical Neuroscience from Institute of Neurology, University College London. He is a level 5 Certified PEAKS Consultant using PEAKS Personality Profiling Technology in improving people’s psychological capital. In addition, he is also a certified Adaptiv Resiliency Coach & Trainer as well as a Certified Gottman Educator in Singapore. He is a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society.
