Bachelor of Science (Honours) / Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) in Marketing
Introduction
Ranked one of the Top 100 Universities in the world, the prestigious University College Dublin’s Bachelor of Science (Honours)/Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) in Marketing programme is designed for aspiring students who wish to make a mark in the ever-changing landscape of business and marketing.
Graduates will be equipped with the necessary technical, knowledge-application, communications, team-building and leadership skills, providing both solid conceptual and practical understanding of marketing in the business world and beyond.
Learning Outcome
At the end of the journey, dedicated students will achieve the same learning outcomes as in an on-campus programme, but with the added benefits of online learning. These include multimedia lecture formats, more avenues for student and lecturer interaction, as well as the flexibility to study anytime, anywhere. In well-designed cases, online learning has been proven to produce equivalent or better learning outcomes as compared to on-campus programmes.
All graduates from the UCD BSc/BBS Degree programmes will receive a degree and transcript from UCD that is the same as that awarded to on-campus learners. There will be no differentiation in the certificate to distinguish an online or on-campus student.
In the online learning space, there will be individual tasks as well as group tasks, which will take place using different technologies for communication and project collaboration depending on the class. There may be both graded and ungraded assignments which will help give learners a sense of their progress as they move along the course.
Final exams will take place in a physical space where you will have to sit for written exams at a local exam centre alongside students from the on-campus cohort. Upon completing the require coursework, you will be presented with the same diploma certificate received by students in the on-campus programme.
