Cosmoprof Academy is a leading makeup artistry and beauty therapy training school in Singapore. Established in 1986, Cosmoprof Academy has a proven track record in training many of the industry's makeup artists and beauty care professionals.
Awards
In 2016, Cosmoprof Academy won "Prominent Brand Award" at the Promising SME 500 Awards. In 2014, Cosmoprof received the coveted "Top 10 Special Achievement Awards - Special Achievement in Makeup Artistry". In 2012, Cosmoprof Academy won the "Most Outstanding Achievement Award, Makeup & Beauty Academy" at the Promising SME 500 Awards. Other awards we have won include the Business Luminary Award 2014; National Arts Council's Arts Supporter Award 2004 to 2008.
Facilities
Our spacious facilities offer a creative place and conducive learning environment for our students. The total area of our school exceeds 530sqm.
Cosmoprof is located within Singapore's arts and cultural district. A 5 mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. Within our vicinity you can find SOTA School of The Arts Singapore, SMU Singapore Management University, NAFA Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore Art Museum, Hotels and Shopping Malls.
Our History
Cosmoprof was founded by Peter Sng in 1986. A well respected community leader, and pioneer in the spa and beauty industry. Peter was a board member of the US based International Spa Association (ISPA) from 2000 to 2008, and President of its ISPA Asia Pacific Chapter from 2000 to 2005. For his role in growing the spa industry in Asia Pacific countries, ISPA presented Peter with one of its highest honour, the "ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award" in Las Vegas in 2004. Peter Sng was also the founding President of Spa Association of Singapore 2000 to 2008. The legacy of our founder lives on in the management philosophy of Cosmoprof, which are: Integrity; Service to Community; and ensuring that all Cosmoprof Students have an enriching experience during their studies with us.
