Introduction

For foreign workers with prior knowledge and skills, this is a faster route for Skills Upgrading with a nationally recognised qualification. Workers will be assessed for competency for 5 modules within one sitting.

Course Objective:

• Provide skills upgrading and career advancement for adult workforce.
• Provide cross-cutting generic skills required by the Manufacturing Industry.
• Support and facilitate specialised training and skills development to enhance the workforce, which will lead to an increase in the industry’s overall competitiveness and productivity.

On completion of IAP, foreign workers are eligible to upgrade their current R2 Work Permit to R1 Work Permit.
