Certificate in Academic English is a preparatory course for international students to acquire a good foundation in the English Language. 

Conducted at DIMENSIONS’ City Campus which houses the School of Language, the course is taught by our own faculty of full-time Native-Speakers. This will enables students to build and enhance their reading, writing, listening and speaking ability in English which is deemed as the universal language.

COURSE STRUCTURE

• Certificate in Academic English Level 1 (Beginner )
• Certificate in Academic English Level 2 (Elementary)
• Certificate in Academic English Level 3 (Lower – Intermediate)
• Certificate in Academic English Level 4 (Intermediate)
• Certificate in Academic English Level 5 (Upper-Intermediate)
• Certificate in Academic English Level 6 (Advanced)

COURSE MODES AND DURATION

Intensive – Full-Time: 6 Months Institutional Training, 3 contact hours per session, 2 sessions per school day, 10 sessions per week (Total: 30 contact hours per week)

Full-Time: 6 Months Institutional Training, 3 contact hours per session, 1 session per school day, 5 sessions per week (Total: 15 contact hours per week)

Part-Time: 12 Months Institutional Training, 3 contact hours per session, 3 sessions per week (Total: 9 contact hours per week)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Age: At least 12 years old.

English Proficiency: Subject to IELTS results or have taken an entry test to qualify admission to the appropriate entry level. Subsequent level advancement will be qualified through his/her test results at each level.
