PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner (40 PDUs)

Project Pro

Course introduction

The PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner training is a 5-day intensive program, which covers the OGC's PRINCE2® Project Management methodology and syllabus. You will gain practical skills by using the techniques to handle real issues. The training program will provide delegates with a firm grounding in the sensible application of the project management method. Delegates will be able to confidently take the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Examination within the 5 training days. Course case studies will assist delegates in applying the principles to a variety of scenarios. Project Pro is a highly experienced organization and has successfully prepared over a 1,000 participants in their PMP®, CAPM® and PRINCE2® exams. The program includes comprehensive study materials and substantial practice exam questions that will be reviewed throughout the program, thoroughly preparing participants for the exam. (Note: Please enquire for public fulltime/part-time schedule or for in-house or group training)

Course Benefits

Note: It is recommended that participants complete both the Foundation and Practitioner program within the same 5-day session (together with both exams), rather than to do them separately.

Through the course, delegates need to exhibit the competence required for the Foundation and Practitioner qualification, and show that they can apply PRINCE2® approaches to address the needs and problems of a specified project scenario. Specifically, candidates must be able to:

  • Describe the purpose and major content of all roles, the components, the processes and the sub-processes, and the techniques.
  • State which management products are input to, and output from the processes.
  • State the main purpose, and key contents, of the major management products.
  • State the relationships between processes, deliverables, roles and the management dimensions of a project.
  • Learn the sub-processes functions and input-outputs from the knowledge gained from PRINCE2® foundation process.
  • Produce detailed explanations of all processes and sub-processes, components and techniques
  • Provide examples of all PRINCE2® products as they might be applied to address the particular circumstances of a given project scenario
  • Show the understanding of the relationships between processes, components, techniques and PRINCE2® products and how these knowledge can be effectively applied.
  • Demonstrate the understanding of the reasons behind the processes, components and techniques of PRINCE2®, and the rationale and linkages underpinning these elements
  • Demonstrate their ability to tune PRINCE2® to different project circumstances
  • Analyze different project scenarios using all the combined knowledge learned from the PRINCE2® training
