Trainer Profile


Colin Millward OR Gavin Oh

Colin Millward is a project manager, consultant and trainer with more than thirty years in the information technology (IT) and business/financial systems field.

Currently he is providing project management consultancy and advanced skills training and coaching to several large clients in the Asia/Pacific region in business areas ranging from banking and oil (Hess Oil Corporation) through civil aviation (Changi Airport Group) to telecoms and engineering.

Previously, in Asia, Europe and the United States, Colin provided design, integration and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other IT systems for large, complex organisations. Projects included opening a regional division in Singapore for Dutch steel company Dylan Group, enhancing business systems for British electricity company NPower, designing and implementing financial collection systems for ADP in New Jersey, re-engineering vital parts of large-scale business systems for insurance company ADP (New Jersey, US) and implementing financial systems at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Washington DC.
Additionally, Colin has consulted to British Telecom, the UK Inland Revenue, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Cathay Pacific Airways, Securicor, Abbey National Bank, the Royal Bank of Scotland and more than twenty other organisations. He has held responsibility for technical account management, engagement management and regional business development for major software companies Elevon and QSP.

Colin holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Arcadia University, an Advanced Master's Certification in Applied Project Management from Villanova University and a PMP® (Project Management Professional) with the Project Management Institute. He is also accredited as a fellow mediator by the Singapore Mediation Centre, and appointed to the exclusive Principal Mediators Panel, where he is often called upon to resolve major business disputes through a combination of analytical and soft skills.

Colin uses a powerful mix of knowledge, enthusiasm and humour to build and retain motivated project teams of productive people.



Gavin Oh is Principal Consultant at a US-based consulting organisation where, he is also the senior partner and managing director of its Asia-Pacific operations. With more than 10 years' management of experience with AT&T Bell Labs and Motorola, he has successful line and project management experience with various industries. He has been providing project management training and consultation services to many organisations locally and around the region, such as Citibank, Credit Suisse First Boston, DSO National Laboratories, Health Promotion Board, MINDEF, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pepperl+Fuchs, Pfizer, Singapore Airlines; amongst many others. He is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI®), a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), and is proficient in both English and Mandarin.
