Bachelor of Information Technology Management in Information Technology Management and Management (Part time)
Structure and Content
This course requires students to have previously completed a diploma in a relevant discipline in order to gain necessary advanced standing. The course consists of 15 units and may be completed in a minimum of 20 months. Students have the option to enroll in either single or double majors. Minimum of 84 points is required for completion of this double major combination. If students choose to complete a total of 96 points, they may be eligible to receive a double degree – Bachelor of Information Technology Management and Bachelor of Commerce in Management.
Professional Recognition
Graduates are eligible to apply to be a member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) at Professional Level which has reciprocal agreement with similar organizations around the world including the Singapore Computer Society.

Entry Requirement
The Bachelor of Information Technology Management with Double Major in Information Technology Management and Management course accepts a wide range of qualifications.
These include:
A recognised Polytechnic Diploma.
Private Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology related fields.
Additional Entry Requirements:
Applicants admitted to the Bachelor of Information Technology Management with Double Major in Information Technology Management and Management Management course may be required to undertake additional units in order to achieve full advanced standing. The final decision rests with Murdoch University.
Applicants are required to meet Murdoch University English language requirement.
Delivery Method
Students will attend a combination of lectures, tutorials and workshops in this course. This Bachelor of Information Technology Management with Double Major in Information Technology Management and Management course consists of 15 units and may be completed in a minimum of 20 months, by enrolling in 2-3 units per trimester over 4 academic trimesters. Each unit is supported with 24-60 hours contact hours over the duration of a trimester, conducted on weekday evenings and weekends to suit the busy schedules of students enrolled in this course.
Assessment Methods
Each unit will be assessed by a range of assessment methods, including, but not limited to; class participation, written assignment, presentation and/or examination. Examinations will normally be held after office hours.
Graduation and Degree
Students who successfully complete the course will be awarded the prestigious Bachelor of Information Technology Management with Double Major in Information Technology Management and Management. The degree will be the same as that awarded to on-campus students of the University. Graduates will be allowed to use the title BITMan (Murdoch) after their names.
