Higher Diploma in Information Technology - validated by The University of Cambridge International Examinations & jointly awarded by TMC

The Higher Diploma in Information Technology provides students with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to meet excellent career opportunities in the Information Technology industry. It aims to develop and produce graduates who are well versed in the critical disciplines required in the field of Computing and Information Technology (IT), and to possess the necessary personal qualities and technical skills needed to excel as IT professionals.

The course aims to achieve an international standard of high quality training which will lead to a universally recognised qualification, enabling diploma holders to pursue undergraduate programmes at top universities.

The Higher Diploma has 2 majors and consists of a total 10 modules: 5 core and 5 for the major.

Course Delivery:

This programme is wholly delivered in Singapore. Students will have access to local lecturers and the on-line resources provided by TMC.

There will be a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, presentations and sessions in computer laboratories where appropriate. Students will also be given additional work to complete outside of scheduled classes.

Resources and materials provided for students will include lecture notes and references for further reading in books, professional journals, publication, articles and websites.
